Recognition for Heroic Canadian Scientist Dr. Peter Moloney

I fully support this overdue recognition.

I had the pleasure of meeting my great Uncle Peter. He was in his 90s at the time and as sharp as a tack!!

Peter Moloney was my uncle and I always remember him as a very brilliant and humble man.

My father is Peter McCauley, nephew of Peter Moloney. He was named after his Uncle Pete. Stories abound in our family about Uncle Pete and his contribution to the discovery of insulin and science in general.

Do the right and deserving recognition!!

Dr. Moloney was my graduate studies professor, my teacher and mentor. He was very influential in guiding me to a lifelong career in biochemical engineering after I received my Ph.D in 1955.

The Government of Canada should recognize Dr. Moloney's accomplishments.
