I support this petition simply because the late President Mr Ong Teng Cheong was in reality the first elected president for Singapore through a proper election exercise! Obviously this is different from someone being given those powers of an elected president to exercise but not elected by the people through proper electoral process.

I agree that Mr. Ong Teng Cheong was our first Elected President. History and truth must not be altered to favor the convenience and preference of the ruling party.

Pap leadership you need to hv integrity and leadership by role and example to her citizens. Poor show that this has to happen. Citizens are no longer blind followers!

It is a fact of our nation history & most of us who voted for & against Mr Ong are still alive to testify it. For the honor of our nation & its people let's not make a fool of ourselves in the eyes of the world especially the neighboring countries.

Typical of present PAP to even want to re-write history to suit itself. Has no respect for what is true n correct so long it suit themselves. My greatest respect to a true gentleman Mr. Ong Teng Cheong

Appropriate honour should be returned to former President Ong Teng Cheong.
