We would like to reach out to Mrs. Amy Narvaez and Mrs. Angela Browning. My wife and I would like to actively support them!

This is where kids develop social skills and confidence. Its disgusting that its taken away from them. Even adults get 2 15 minute breaks a day.

Dear Parents: Recess is not a "Let Kids be Kids issue" it is an brain improvement / development issue. Children perform better in educational work when it is mixed with regular physical activity. You will consistently find that high achievers, including the past two Presidents (biking and golf), systematically get physical activity. This is not an accident. Please refer to the research The American Sports Institute Provides at: www.americansportsinstitute.org and filed under "Research Community" and "Articles, Papers & Reports".
This is not a trivial issue. Our children will face long-term consequences from un-examined views of poorly informed and directed school boards. Yours - TJ Meagher, Esq.

I completely agree! When I was around that age (mid-1990's), we had recess every day!

Let kids be kids! Recess also gives children many valuable life lessons. imagination, creativity, social skills, tolerance, self esteem, emotional needs and anxiety relief. These are critical to every child. even more beneficial than singing songs in a music class.
