In this age of Godlessness, an increased rather than decreased witness of loving devotion to our Lord is imperative to stir the sleeping masses and atone for the worlds ever increasing sins.

As a priest, I would definitely agree that communion received on the tongue either standing or kneeling would help foster greater reverence towards and belief in the real presence of Christ in the Blessed Sacrament

The Host contains the Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity of our Lord Jesus Christ, and should only be touched by the validly ordained priests.

I agree completely. When the outward signs and expressions of the Faith are abandoned, the interior life of the soul suffers more, both on an individual and collective level. I have not received Holy Communion for a decade and would never do so again.

The vast majoprity pf people who receive Communion in the hand do not greet the Lord with any sign of reverence. Kneeling and receiving on the tongue is an act of reverence in itself.

After receiving Our Lord in our hands for over 30 years (because we were told it was no longer acceptable any other way) we were drawn to changing back when our youngest made their FHC (and with the support of some good priests and parishes). As a family - we haven't looked back (albeit many awkward situations along the years) and we believe it makes a huge difference to our reception.
