Many of us stood by quietly, trusting that the Webster Parish School Board would look at the facts about our financial situation and make sound, rational decisions. But now is the time for us to act, to make a stand against a School Board vote that will NOT keep our budget in the green.

If you feel that our School Board did not act in the interest of our children, the time has come to make a stand. Lets make sure that our ELECTED officials, those charged with REPRESENTING US, act in the best interest of Webster Parish and our children.  If the issue of consolidation is truly based on preventing a $5 million per year budget deficit, then our school board has the responsibility to look at the numbers, conduct studies on the economic and social impacts of their decisions, and vote accordingly.
