I do not believe that Eric Whitfield has the best interest of the students or the constituents of Onslow County in mind. His long term goal is to run for County Commissioner in 2024 and have a PAC support his bid. He has made crude and disparaging comments that should not be anywhere near any place that affects the education our children will receive.

The voters of Onslow County are really to blame. Voting for someone who has a (R) or a (D) beside their name is not enough. Research, research, research. Know who it is that your voting for. Maybe the D & R shouldn't be there at all, if you don't know who it is you're voting, that shouldn't be a crutch. Not sure if this petition is really going to accomplish anything, but I will sign it in the hope that it will.
