Sweeney is a lying sack of shit, just like most politicians. At the hearing in Trenton last year he shook my hand and told me he would never support dropping the 15 round magazine limit. I guess his definition of never is one year. What a complete and absolute sleaze he has proved to be.

NJ Senate president, Steve Sweeney again refuses to differentiate between innocent, law abiding people and criminals. Skipping any opportunity for comment by the public, Sweeney has struck a "backroom deal" to reduce magazine capacity from 15 rounds to 10, without the evidence of a single study to support that it would reduce crime. Understanding that those intent upon committing violent crime already care little for the dictates of murder or assault laws -much less, magazine restrictions- the passage of this bill will further strip innocent, legal gun owners of their rights and make them more vulnerable to predators or prosecution by a state which reviles the exercise of their Constitutional rights.

The magazine limit was initially passed last year in the Assembly, but was held up in the Senate where Sweeney (D-Gloucester) refused to put the measure for a vote. At the time, Sweeney called the current 15-round limit "reasonable."

This thug lies to constituents first by bragging that he has a Concealed Carry Permit, then he denies that he has one. Then, he swears he will always support the 2nd Amendment & never, ever allow any laws to go through NJ legislature that would strip the #2A. Fast Forward 6 months & Stevie writes S2723, the Omnibus Gun Law From Hell bragging it will be a shining example of gun control for obama to use in other states! Little Steven claims he has "evolved" and he now sees the error of his ways. Yes, he has evolved into a lying, thieving, sanctimonious POS thug who has no relationship with the truth.
