We, the undersigned, do hereby petition that Mr. William (Bill) Shobe resign his position on the Shoals Community School Board immediately, based on his primary residence being in Floyds Knob, Indiana which is not the district he was chosen to represent or even the community where the Shoals Community School is located. It is very difficult to understand how the community can be of much interest to Mr. Shobe when he chooses not to live in it most of the year. In addition, his voting record indicates that he does not put the children first and is not concerned with representing the voters who are demanding that savings be made within the administrative area of the school system.  It does not appear that Mr. Shobe is concerned with the current or future financial situation of the school when he is making decisions and casting votes to keep overpaid administrators.
