I honestly cannot believe how fast this is moving through the neighborhood because I really thought people had just given up on the board. Everything feels different now that so many of us are actually talking about these guard gate decisions out in the open instead of just grumbling to ourselves in our own driveways.

You three represent the community I'm personally disappointed that you did not consider the voice of the people of SJH. The survey that was just released on ND was clear that SJH liked Nordic and felt safe with Nordic. We now have a subpar security service that we all agree is not as good, and we all do not feel as safe as we once did. We just want Nordic back!!
As I said on Nextdoor, the survey should have been made public BEFORE any decisions were made about security. The community should have input on who the board hires. I suggest that we have 5 companies submit a written presentation, along with the proposed cost to hire them, and then present that to the community for a vote.
Non transparency and non communication with residents before making a change to switch from Nordic.
The Security team has a lack of experience. We did not receive any Survey for Nordic We lives close to North gate, the security north gate crew are talking to each other very loud
San Joanquin Hills community was attractive to me and the highlight for that was the professionalism of the gate personnel; this gave me a secure feeling . I am so disappointed that the HOA made this unilateral decision to replace them . The secure feeling which was the attraction for me is gone. So sad!! The HOA should have been more considerate and for a decision of this magnitude the HOA should have exercised a more concerted effort to make sure this decision will not negatively impact the community.
