The impeachment trial of a private citizen is unconstitutional. It is an attack on the very foundation of our American democracy- which Senator Cassidy has supported with his vote in agreement that the impeachment trial of a private citizen is constitutional. This goes directly against his oath he took to defend and protect the US Constitution against foreign and domestic enemies. To which he appears to be by his vote. Therefore he needs to be recalled from his position as Senator - he is not representing his constituents of Louisiana
