I believe that we, the people of Oregon need a governor that had the best interests of the entire state of Oregonians at mind not just the larger metropolitan areas. Oregon has always been amazing and does not need the change that has come to it and the people of oregon, the backbone of oregon do not deserve their representative ignoring them. WE ARE NOT CALIFORNIA!! go home

I am not from Portland, however, my son-in-law makes his living in Portland much like his grandparents did. I have never seen a harder working, loving , caring family man who works harder for his family. Logging is his passion! He is always talking about his love of the forests and need to care for them. Logging must be done to thin out trees so the healthy ones can survive! Loggers understand the need for trees as this is their living!! Much like farming in South Dakota, logging is a way of life in Oregon. For a Governor to make a decision that clearly will affect so many families and children is unconscionable and I sincerely hope the loggers in the area sit on the capitol steps in the logging gear you wear everyday, rain or shine. If that does not speak volumes to this governor she is heartless! Praying for you all! Rich and Cathy Roling, South Dakota Farmers
