Final supporters
Most of us buy Royal Enfield bikes cause of the sentiments attached to them. The new Himalayan 450 is an amazing upgrade to the old 411 however all of us are facing huge issues with its switches. Most of them don't work.
Many have got them replaced but still, they fail to work.
The same switches are used on the new RE launches.
The Service team is also hopeless and most of us have gone numerous time to the service center.
This is a petition to Royal Enfield management and CEO Sid Lal to look into this on an immediate basis.
Major issues include -
1. Joystick doesn't work. Keeps resetting and failing. Distracts riders by sudden notifications not triggered by us.
2. Other switches namely Hazard (gets stuck), menu, etc don't work correctly.
3. Dash is getting fog and spots inside.
4. Bike balance continues to be an issue for all.
5. The Handlebar stem moves and is a hazard to all those who do trails.
Other Issues
1. Low oil pressure sensor
2. Handle bar not alligned
3. Console not compatibility with few android phones
4. Indicators getting fog
5. Ignition (key) contact keeps disconnecting for many

Facing all issue and service center is saying they will provide new switch and indicator im sometime however its been 15 days still there is no update.. I am from navi mumbai and done service from ram motors. My bike number is Mh46CQ7996.
This should have tested by RE before selling to customers, this is major part of our bikes, only 2 rains was needed to ruin the switches, imagine riding your bike like they show in Advertisements, really disappointed with all the issues that have been arising with Himalayan, they could have delayed the launch tested the bike more, I hope they replace and fix this problem
RE needs to seriously work on its quality and reliability. So may issues for so many customers for Himalayan 450. RE should stop treating their customer bikes as Research units. People have invested their hard earned money and savings to buy their dream bike to enjoy the rides and not to visit the service center every now and then.
My switched are malfunctioning again even after replace. Display has condensation. And now RE Service Center reset my meter... It shows me an incorrect time. I cannot connect my instrument as I cannot navigate to the QR code due to the joystick having a mind of it's own...
Joystick switches are really poorly quality and offer no protection from water. It's an adv bike, so expecting a bit more robust quality of switches.
My hazard switch got stuck on my Himalayan 450 which o had bought on 2025 March last week.

Himalayan 450 is no doubt the very best adv of royal Enfield till date but the bike control switches have failed to sustain under monsoon, this should not be the case of an ADV where the bike is expected to be in mud dust and wet conditions at most times, we need waterproof switches, also the joystick idea was not a good idea it never works good in gloves
