54 people lost their jobs last week in oregon, I was one of them, 54 families were effected. Single mothers with children to support, two income families that can not depend on only one income, older individuals that can not survive on SSI. The fact is that according to the governor there plan was to create jobs in rural Oregon. Well this is rural Oregon and instead of creating jobs that could be kept 54 people were laid off. Yes 54 people, 54 families in an area that is in need of jobs this is why the governor said she wanted to create jobs because their was a need. The jobs were created then lost, what a tease.
