We, the people of the great state of North Dakota, having signed our names to this petition, are in consent to recall Governor Doug Burgum. The reason for the recall is his unconstitutional and unlawful overreach in his role as the Governor of North Dakota. His recent mask mandate (signed on Nov. 13, 2020) is the breaking point that has led to the many signatures contained herein.
Recognizing that the USA is a constitutional republic wherein our government in all 50 states is of the people, by the people, and for the people, we believe firmly that it was the intent of the founders and our founding documents that those who govern must only do so in accordance with the consent of the governed.
Governor Burgum is acting like a tyrant who can decree and do as he pleases without the consent of the people and the legislature of North Dakota. We must resist and we do so not only by refusing to conform to his mandate but also by adding our names to this recall.

Signing this petition because of his Failure to stand up for the constitutional rights and freedoms s of we the people. Also for supporting medical discrimination based on vaccination status.
You waited till after the election to put forward the mask mandate because you knew we the people of North Dakota would not accept you doing that! Shame on you for not being true to the principles of freedom!
For tyrannical mandates on free men. We are all equal. I watched him unmasked at Bidens inauguration while he imposed masks on our children in my state. I have the screen shot to prove it. He is as fake as Romney
I have become increasingly concerned with the executive orders that Gov Burgum has enacted in our great state. Because of those concerns where our freedoms are systematically being taken away from us I see this recall as a next step in gaining our freedom from the tyranny.
Yes please stop this mask mandate and the state of emergency. Children need to be back full time and no more mask unless the family wants to. Children need to play sports n family need to be all together at sports n seeing family in nursing homes.
All those who know his past should be questioning his intentions

While many governors are including but not limited to Florida, SD and Utah lead the way in allowing we the people to enjoy the Constitution Burgum has continued to over reach and we want our freedoms
