I have called Yarloop my home for 49yrs. Yes the old Yarloop has gone but a new Yarloop can be built. Bigger, stronger newer. The community spirit will always be there, and the memories. As said before Mother Nature may have taken our town but she will never be able to take our memories.

I was born at the Yarloop Hospital 34 years ago. I attended Yarloop Primary School, I swam in the Yarloop Water Hole, I lived it up at the good old Yarloop Pub & Bowling club, I worked at the Yarloop One Stop Shop, I met my Husband here, We celebrated our Wedding Reception at the Yarloop Town Hall, I've lived here all my life also raising my children here. Please help keep my home town YARLOOP alive xx

These people are deserving of some goodness and happiness in their lives after such devastation. As a collie local which is a close town to Yarloop, I believe this would be a great thing for the community and for our country spirit.

Being someone that grow up in Yarloop went to Yarloop primary with my cousins caught tadpoles in the creek near the railway line walked along the gravel track behind the workshop to get to school these are just some of my memory's but there will always be Yarloop in my heart rebuilding this beautiful town will not just create new memory's for my family and friends but there children that live there and I have those memories because this is a amazing community and with there spirt Yaroop will thrive
