The kids of Franklin High deserve to have adequate facilities like the other high schools in our district!! With the community college campus right next door available for sale, there will never be a better or more logical time to expand the Franklin campus. The addition of the community college campus and Cheek Park would finally being FHS's facilities up to par. It's time for the school board and county commission to stop focusing on nonsense and start focusing on our kids! Please take advantage of this great opportunity to improve facilities for our very deserving kids.

We must do something to provide our FHS students the same, if not better, access to athletic opportunities, resources, fields than the other Williamson County neighborhoods. To ask for students and parents of FHS students to "share" facilities with a rival high school is a travesty. This is something you might hear of in a depressed situation somewhere, not in Franklin, TN. Please also make sure that ALL of our sports teams - including lacrosse - benefits from this action. Just because lacrosse is not yet a TSSAA sanctioned sport doesn't mean our teams are as good, don't work as hard and don't deserve access to the appropriate fields and resources. This goes for both the girls and boys lax programs. Thank you. Gill Duff

Every other schools are getting new theaters so we need something we've been deprived of for awhile: A real track with 8 lanes, fields for our sports, and every other basic sports requirement we still don't have.
