We, the undersigned, would like to bring up the problem of how using a cell phone while driving is dangerous and should be illegal. Each year thousands of citizens are injured or killed due to drivers being distracted by their cell phones. The amount of deaths while using a phone is outrageous: “Every year on average 6,000 people are killed because a driver was using their cell phone” (Winfrey1). Cell phones have become a huge part in America, but are using the cell phones while driving worth taking away someone’s life?
