I am fom Laois(proud Laois woman) and live in Kildare. I should be able to vote where I live.

It should never have happened in the first place, people in these areas had relationships built up with their politicians and they have been part of a political area for their lifetimes of voting and then are asked to vote for people they know nothing about, I am sure for them it was isolating and for the politicians that worked on their behalf for years it was sole destroying to loose their votes.

we should be given the opportunity to keep our own TDs and their offices because they are the ones on the frontline representing us-not TDs in Loais

A county is defined by its borders . Why are peoples voting rights being infringed upon ? Only in Ireland would you get this .... being basically forced to vote in Laois when you clearly live and are registered to vote in Kildare . Where is the logic ? .

It's a joke that we are in the laois constituency only one candidate callel during canvassing so if they are not even bothered looking for votes what hope is there of them doing anything vfor us

Why are voters that live in Kildare asked to vote for other county's is a joke. We live in Kildare let us vote for TDs that will do things for Kildare
