It is really pathetic to observe that the Dalit community, in India, is being treated as a vote bank or essential commodities, during the time of the elections, by the majority of the political parties, irrespective of their party affiliation. I am talking about a party that campaigned during the general election 2014 on banner of ‘sabka saath, sabka vikas' ‘achchhe din' & ‘ development' is on now ‘ cow Kashmir, cow Kashmir & Ram mandir ......My state forward question is that why the PM Modi was in need to raise the issue from a public platform, against the VHP for saving cows and on the issue of atrocities against, Dalit and Muslims, who are involved in Cow’s skin business, when he cannot protect the Dalit from the physical atrocities, by the Gau Rakchak outfits.Mr. Modi was in a silent mode, till the Dalit have come out on the street of the Gujarat to protest, against the atrocities, committed by the Gau Rakchak outfits. Mr Modi has used two platforms to vent false ire, against the Gau Rakchak and on the next day, he was sympathetic towards the Dalit community. The PM Modi has asked the citizen that shoots him, but do not attack Dalit. Mr. Modi should explain that why the Crocodile tears for the Dalit is coming out, before the assembly election of Punjab, Uttar Pradesh and Gujarat? He should also tell the nation, what action he has taken, when the State Foreign Minister, Mr. B. K. Singh have compared Dalit people with a Dog and he should also tell that what immediate action was being taken, against his own cabinet ministers, who have compelled the Dalit scholar, Mr. Rohit Vemula to die an unnatural death, at a prime time of his life. If Mr. Modi thinks that his so called sympathy and crocodile tears for the Dalit could draw the Dalit community to his side, then he is living in the Paradise of fool’s. Today, the Dalit community is supposed to be educated and is the part of the Social Media and Digital India. So, you cannot fool the said community, with the words of sympathy, for a longer period. Real leadership is all about finding innovative solutions to our problems with humility , problems of common man. It is not about man ki baat, it is not about emotional religious fundamentalism, high price suit, it is not about selfie or world tour, cheap pseudo secularism, holding brooms, talking age old communism. It is time for us to identify the real leaders. Not of those at least who play politics on indecent remarks over each other;that too,for political gain in viewing of upcoming elections in different states. Time to say farewell and good bye to our politicians.
