No need for this grocery store. We now have another grocery store right at K and Laura Hill. Plenty of Gas stations around 2 at Mexico and Salt Lick and one at Belleau Creek and Veterans Memorial. That is plenty. Would like to see this stay C0 instead of zoning C2. A strip mall would be better.

I have walked this area during all times of the day and it is crazy busy now. To add more traffic will only cause more accidents and issues for the people of the subdivision including those children and teenagers trying to get to school. Mexico and Knaust is already horribly backed up during the morning rush hour; this development would only add to the problem.

There are schools near by, what happen to the law no liquor or tobacco close to a school. Please this is a nice residential area.

No need for this development especially with close proximity to the schools.

We don't need this development. There are enough markets and gas stations in the area, not to mention a Walmart down the road. Please don't approve this development for the sake of our neighborhood environment and the safety of our children.

Absolutely no need for another grocery & gas station! Too many in close proximity already & way too close to the schools.

I'm pretty sure that if the tables were turned, the Planning Commission would have ensured that the rezoning proposal would have died in its tracks! I hope the City Counsel members listen with their hearts on this one. Go Chadwyck!

Keep this land open, we do not need more traffic and more people around these neighborhoods, especially next to two schools.

The proposed shopping center would bring unwanted and potentially dangerous traffic too close to nearby schools and residences.

Putting a high volume, retail store right down the street from a high school - which group of drivers have the most accidents? teenagers - is just simply not a good or safe idea. It's irresponsible to further complicate the driving of our youngest and most novice drivers... Also, creating high volume traffic on Knaust, which will happen, is also a horrible outcome with an elementary and middle school with so many walkers right there. This is a bad idea...

Rezoning the land creates a more dangerous traffic environment for the high school on the corner. It also will negatively affect the homes that back up to the property. Overall, rezoning the land truly does not improve the city at all.

There is no need for the proposed business since similar businesses are located within a mile of the site. Traffic in the area is already congested & additional traffic would pose a safety risk for students walking from nearby schools. A 24 hour business is also not appropriate to be located in the backyard of a residential subdivision.

This is a ridiculous idea. There is a WalMart 1.5 miles from that location. Let's think about the safety of the students who have to walk to school since the school corporation won't bus the Chadwyck students.

Has anyone though about the fact that there's a HS right across the street and middle schoolers that need to use this area to walk to their homes (mornings and afternoons) as far as I know Walmart sells alcohol and/or cigarettes? Easy access to the Youngsters!!! What about the hundreds of teenager drivers? Absurd
No more
