I am totally against this project. City officials need to think of the safety and quality of the neighborhood.

Just once, I would love to see a city think about the people that live there. Stop thinking about the almighty dollar, really, is this what's best for that intersection?

As a resident of Hutchings Farm, I believe this project will be a serious concern to our neighborhood safety, our families, and our properties value. Our neighborhood only has two entrances, Hwy K or Knaust Rd. Both are most all the time with heavy traffic especially during school hours. A lot of people use our neighborhood streets to cross to Knaust Rd trying to avoid the the traffic of Hwy K and that is already a risk. If they build a business of this magnitude in that area we all be in danger! We already have a Walmart, plenty of gas stations. There's absolutely NO need to build a new one.

Please, no more Walmart! We have plenty of Walmarts and grocery stores, and that intersection is not equipped for the traffic this would cause!!!

NOT the right place for this! Too congested already with the schools. Too many gas stations and grocery stores already in this area.

We already have to many businesses south of I 70. Put a Walmart mini mart on the north side where the need one. The Walmart on Highway K is a mess, make them fix it up inside and out before they junk up another site. We have too many grocery stores on the Southside. We don't need this on an already congested area.

As a high school @ FZS, the traffic is horrible to begin with why put a Walmart across the street to make it even more busy especially when you have one perfectly fine right down the street less than 5 minutes away? This is a horrible decision and especially for the new drivers coming out of school trying to hurry and get home to beat the traffic. This is asking for more accidents than there already is.

This is the worst and most absurd idea EVER! Safety is a huge concern, as is the lights, noise, smell, toxic gas fumes and the list goes on. Do not pas this! Yes I understand as a resident backed to this property that it would be developed some day but not by yet ANOTHER "market" and "gas pumps"

I don't live in your area but I have a grandson who attends the high school and two who will go there in a few years. The traffic is terrible at this intersection when I attend any school function NOW!! Why would or could you add to an already existing problem. People lives matter and this seems to be a total disregard for safety AND pubic opinion.

Adding a Walmart to this location makes an already busy intersection too dangerous for the high school students just across the street.

This is unfair to those living in the area and not needed when there are gas stations and groceries all within less than 2 miles of this new location.

Money talks as we can tell in this situation. We need our city officials to care more about our kids and residents safety rather than making a buck. They can still get their money on a lot already zoned for use in this manner. Why re-zone this location??

The development planned is a huge safety concern and would defer business from other similar businesses within 2 miles. The safety concerns outweigh the monetary gains for OFallon residents!
