Some people where maybe voting for the first time, and didn't know there was only pencils. In my opinion pens should be used, and so what if people are young what has that got to do with it. You've been voting over 20 years and....?? Maybe If older people voted properly maybe just maybe younger generation wouldn't have to deal with the back lash of David Cameron.

my vote is not secure and it is easy to rub out as it was crossed in pencil. Pencil should be banned in polling stations in order to secure your vote without any suspected rigging going on

Oh dear. I'm guessing you're a young 'un? Because I've been voting for over 20 years, and they've ALWAYS used pencils! This election is no different.
Why can't you just accept that democracy has worked, and the people of the UK have chosen their government? It may not be the government you would have chosen, but it's been won fair and square. Pencil or pen would make no difference, it's a big majority and you can hardly believe that there's been a fraudulent vote of that number.
P.S. You can always take your own pen in to vote with in the future if you want to, there's no rules against that.

If i had known we were going to be given pencils to mark our paper i would have taken my own marker. I don't feel my vote was 100% secure, there needs to be a re-vote
