Dear A.P.C.,

Congratulations! People around the world have come to respect your brand as one that really cares about craftsmanship. They are recognized not just as purchasable goods, but as objects of design that can be appreciated on a lot of different levels.

Everything you make is very high quality, and people certainly do look forward to seeing what you come up with each season. But the breton stripe sweater from a few years ago stands out as being extraexceptional. Surely you know by now that the demand for it never diminished. Unfortunately, like most of your products, you stopped making it long ago.

Since then, many of us have been hoping that you'd remake it. We've searched, and searched, and searched to try and find it. We've also (vainly) tried sifting through the breton sweaters from your competitors, but for a huge and growing number of us, none of what we've found have been close enough. If anything, all of this searching has made us appreciate all the details that made this particular version of the breton sweater so outstanding.

Across the web in communities such as /r/malefashionadvice (http://www.reddit.com/r/malefashionadvice), this sweater keeps coming up. People constantly ask where they can find it or similar things, and because everybody wants to know, these posts tend to get a ton of "upvotes." Hundreds of comments are very common, but none of them ever have an answer! And how could they? It isn't made anymore.

So, we realize that you try to make new things for new seasons. And we also realize that you yourself have made similar sweaters. But please, as a way of celebrating and respecting the original design, please re-release it exactly how it was before. It would make a lot of us very happy!
