Your Excellency,

We wish that this letter finds you in best of health and well being. We also want to thank you and your venerable ministry and all its employees for the super human efforts exercised during this pandemic.

Your Excellency, We are writing you this letter to let you know of our predicament during this pandemic.

First of all, let us introduce ourselves, we are a group of salons that has been operating in The Sultanate of Oman in the beauty industry for more than 10 years with many branches across Muscat, Sohar & Salalah.

We have been doing great for the last 10 years, even during economic downside. We were able to survive the year 2008, 2017 and beyond despite the world economic recession.

But with the coming of this CORONA virus, our industry was hit the hardest. Salons and spas were immediately ordered to close down and we have been achieving zero revenue since 18th March 2020 until today.

It has been a struggle to keep our staffs and to sustain their basic needs with zero income for so long (almost five months now).

We would respectfully ask an immediate action to rescue us from this catastrophic situation. Also would appreciate if you could allow us to meet to discuss the way forward.

In this view, we are humbly seeking for your kind support to allow us to open our salon and we undertake to take all necessary preventive measures as follow:

• Deep cleaning and disinfecting of all our branches prior to opening and daily after closing.
• Sanitizing all tools and equipment’s (as what we have been doing in the past) with use of single use tools and the personal tool kits, which we introduced in the Oman market.
• Staffs will be wearing/donning PPE's such as facemask, face-shield, hair net, gloves and disposable aprons.
• All services will be done by appointments only, to ensure social distancing. No walk-in clients will be entertained and we make sure the salon is 30% occupancy at all time.
• Installation of acrylic shield between clients and technician, between clients to clients and in the reception.
• No children and elderly 60+ will be allowed inside the salon.
• Temperature screening of clients and staffs will be strictly monitored.
• Clients with flu-like symptoms will not be accepted
• Continuous sterilization of the shop using the in house fogging tools which we acquired for all our branches
• We are also ready to further comply with any additional government advise or regulation in order to prevent the spread of the virus

Rest assured that all staffs will undergo a rigorous training/briefing on how to observe the above guidelines.

In addition to the above measures, all our staffs have taken and passed the COVID-19 Preventive Measures certification issued by Barbicide, a leading sterilisation company in the Beauty industry (attaches are example certificates achieved by our staff).

All of the above will be done and anything else that will be required by the Ministry, in order for us to re-open.

Your consideration and compassion towards our plight will be most appreciated.

نتمنى أن تصلكم هذه الرسالة وانتم في أفضل صحة وعافية. كما نود أن نشكر معاليكم وجميع موظفي وزارتكم الموقرة على الجهود الفائقة التي تبذلوها خلال هذه الفترة التي نمر بها من جائحة (وباء كورونا المستجد).

معاليكم ، اننا نكتب إليكم هذه الرسالة لنعلمكم بظرفنا الذي الم بنا نتيجة اغلاق نشاطنا التجاري بسبب الوباء.

في بادئ الامر ، دعونا نقدم أنفسنا. نحن مجموعة من الصالونات التي تعمل في سلطنة عمان في مجال التجميل لأكثر من 10 سنوات مع العديد من الفروع عبر مسقط وصحار وصلالة.

لقد ابتكرنا تقنيات وأساليب جديدة في مجال التجميل ، ونسعى دائمًا لتحديد المعيار الامثل في حرفتنا.

لقد عملنا بشكل منتظم على مدى السنوات العشر الماضية ، حتى أثناء الهبوط الاقتصادي في الاعوام 2008 و 2017 وما بعده وعلى الرغم من الركود الاقتصادي العالمي فقد تحدينا الازمات واجتهدنا في العمل لكي نحقق رضا زبائننا الأعزاء.

ولكن مع قدوم فيروس كورونا، وايقاف نشاطنا لقد تضررت تجارتنا أكثر من غيرها. ومع صدور أوامر بإغلاق الصالونات والمنتجات الصحية اصبحت ايراداتنا على الفور الى الصفر وذالك منذ 18 مارس 2020 وحتى اليوم.

لقد كان صراعًا للحفاظ على موظفينا والحفاظ على احتياجاتهم الأساسية بدون دخل لفترة طويلة (ما يقرب من أربعة أشهر الآن) من الصعب احرازه.

سنطلب بكل احترام إجراءً فوريًا لإنقاذنا من هذا الوضع الكارثي. كما نقدر إذا سمحت لنا بالاجتماع لمناقشة الطريق إلى الأمام.

ومن هذا المنطلق ، نسعى ونطلب من معاليكم بكل تواضع إلى دعمك الكريم للسماح لنا بفتح صالوننا ونتعهد باتخاذ جميع التدابير الوقائية اللازمة على النحو التالي:

• 1. تنظيف وتطهير عميق لجميع فروعنا قبل الافتتاح وكل يوم بعد الاغلاق

2. تطهير جميع الأدوات والمعدات (كما فعلنا في الماضي) باستخدام أدوات الاستخدام الفردي ومجموعات الأدوات الشخصية التي كنا نحن من الاوائل الذين بدا بتقديمها في السوق العماني.

3. سوف يرتدي الموظفون ملابس الوقاية الشخصية مثل قناع للوجه ، ودرع الوجه ، وشبكة الشعر ، والقفازات ، ومآزر يمكن التخلص منها

4. سيتم إجراء جميع الخدمات عن طريق الحجوزات المسبقة فقط لضمان المسافة الاجتماعية. ولن يتم استقبال أي عملاء من دون موعد وبنسبه ٣٠٪

5. تركيب درع أكريليك واقي بين العملاء والفنيين ، وبين العملاء للعملاء وايضا عند طاولة الاستقبال

6. ممنوع بدخول الأطفال وكبار السن إلى الصالون

7. سيتم مراقبة درجة حرارة العملاء والموظفين بدقة وبتكرار

8. لن يتم قبول العملاء الذين يعانون من أعراض تشبه أعراض الأنفلونزا

9. التعقيم المستمر للمحل باستخدام أدوات الضباب الداخلية التي حصلنا عليها لجميع فروعنا

10. كما أننا مستعدون لمزيد من الامتثال لأي نصيحة أو لائحة حكومية إضافية من أجل منع انتشار الفيروس

معاليكم، أن جميع الموظفين لدينا قد خضعوا لتدريب / إحاطة صارمة حول كيفية الالتزام بالمبادئ التوجيهية المذكورة أعلاه.

بالإضافة إلى التدابير المذكورة أعلاه ، لقد الحقنا جميع موظفينا في دورة مختصة لكيفية التعامل مع هذا الوباء واجتازوا شهادة COVID-19 للإجراءات الوقائية الصادرة من Barbicide، وهي شركة تعقيم رائدة في صناعة التجميل (المرفقات عبارة عن شهادات حصل عليها موظفونا).

وايضا سيتم تنفيذ كل ما سبق وأي شيء آخر تطلبه الوزارة ، لاجل التاكيد والحد من انتشار الوباء.

لذا سيكون تقديرك وتعاطفك تجاه محنتنا موضع تقدير كبير.
