This group is for all those people who love this City of Canterbury that have seen it ruined by the incompetent City 'Planners' over the last few years. Lets face it, if they haven't got it right by now; they haven't been doing their job! The simplest solution to 'saving' the West Gate Towers would have been to re-route the buses and all LGV traffic but no, they insisted that they should close the route through the towers. Exactly what have they achieved? First of all chaos. Re-routed traffic causes Canterbury to be almost grid-locked twice a day. This results in people like me taking up to 40-50 minutes extra traveling to work, over a year that works out at 3 to 4 weeks working time that I waste! There are thousands like me which must be worth Millions of pounds each year lost in time/productivity and Local business about to go bust because trade is down some 30%. I have even started to go elswhere to shop and spend my money because of this chaos. How much more are we going to allow them to destroy this once great City.
