murder, knife crime, attacks,increasing vandalism bring back the police staion. criminals know its a staion free zone. what a mess out town is becoming thanks to BCBC!

The increase of crime in the Porthcawl area is such that with a local police station. .. even with a minimum staffing level. .. offenders are more likely to be apprehended. It's becoming ridiculous now that we should suffer because of decisions made by whoever without any personal consultation with the residents. I wonder how much the safety of Porthcawl occupants will be sacrificed and jalousie in the summery months when the occupancy is greatly increased with holiday makers. In truth. ..I felt safer in Birmingham where the crime rate is NOT comparable in any way.

porthcawl is a busy town and its population more than doubles throughout the summer months. for the safety of residents and holiday makers porthcawl needs a police station that is fully operational. police officers come under increasing amounts of crticism, but it was not their decission to close the station, they also deserve to have a permanent base from which to do their job effectively.
