Why they ever closed is beyond me it's the only one that is near the town centre and handy for towns people

It's been a massive inconvenience to have to go Baldovie waste disposal and Riverside waste disposal ever since they shut Marchbank a few years. If Marchbank is reopened this would be music to my ears

A well worth while petition. Closure of this facility was driven purely by financial considerations and very much disadvantages people in the north west of the city

Myself and family members live in DD3 and this is an issue that affects us , losing marchbanks hit a huge number of residents in Dundee . No wonder there is so much fly tipping going on !!! The nearest skips are miles away and not suitable for a lot of people to get to

Used this facility regularly and it was always busy. The costs involved in removing increased flytipping must cancel out any savings made.

Being a non driver and living in St Marys I have to pay council to lift things for me....March banks was so much more accessible!!

This recycling centre was a well used centre in a great location and served the North end of the city. There is more rubbish than ever being dumped since closing Marchbanks.

This was a great facility in this part of the city. The money that was spent to bring this centre up to a great standard then to close it does not make any sense financially or environmentally.
