As already mentioned, environmentally the decision to close Marchbanks made no sense. Furthermore, why should people in the Downfield area be expected to travel twice as far as anyone else?

Used Marchbanks regularly now I don't bother alternatives are just too far away and inconvenient.

Marchbanks is the only recycle centre for the People in the North/West also more centres should made available instead of less re-open the Haldane Depot

We used Marchbanks for many years and now we need to travel several miles from the North of the city to either Riverside or Baldovie. Bad move to close Marchbanks. Fly tipping in evidence in rural Strathmartine.

Reopen Marchbanks. I feel that the local community have been put to great inconvenience with this closure as it was greatly used and should be re- opened, THE STREETS are A BLOODY MESS BECAUSE OF IT !!

I TOLD THEM THIS WOULD BE A BACKWARD MOVE YEARS AGO AND DID THEY LISTEN NOPE ? THEY DISNAE AND THE STREETS WERE A BLOODY MESS BECAUSE OF IT !!

Just yesterday I'd to make 2 trips to riverside to dump stuff. Couldn't go to baldovan due to road closures and going to riverside took me over half an hour from downfield due to rush hour traffic. Marchbanks would've been done in 5 minutes. So handy for so many people and would encourage recycling rather than some folk flytipping

we really need a recycling centre at this side of town. for those without transport, it means we cannot transport easily our recyclable goods to the other centres, thus recycling halts
