We the People need to get back to work, even if we ease in step by step, at least then people see the light at the end of this very dark, destructive tunnel.

This is ridiculous that Great Escape homes are criminalized for opening. These places are immaculately kept and absolutely beautiful! Open businesses back up!

Absolutely! It feels like the hotel lobbies were behind this. It wasn't just Florida that allowed hotels and motels to stay open but banned short term rentals. As long as the guests observe the stay at home order, it should not matter if they are local or drove from the other side of the country. If the governor truly was concerned about out of state folks bringing Covid-19 with them (although it was already here!!!) then prevent them from also staying in hotels/motels. It feels like the only reason this was put in place was to kill out industry. Vacation rentals are a large part of the the Florida's tourism industry and tax income. This ban is destroying countless short term rental businesses unnecessarily. Please stop the ban.

Trope. The beaches, pool and out businesses NOW or close all hotels, motels and time shares. Discrimination suits will be filed.

So you can have motels and hotels open but not STR that are cleaner and less occupancy?

I would feel MUCH safer in an airBNB rental home than at any hotel! There’s LESS PEOPLE in a single family rental home!
