It makes no sense for hotels/motels to remain open, but short-term rentals to be ordered to close. I would put my cleaner up against any of those cleaning those hotels/motels! Not only are our sheets washed after each guests leave, but I personally have our cleaner wash each bedspread/quilt too. Most guests have been patiently waiting this out, but those who have booked for next mo. & following, need to know if they should pay their balance, or ask for a refund. Those of us owners have bills to pay regardless, & are finding it impossible to juggle one home's expenses, much less any addl. homes they own.

I am the owner of Canaan Property Management LLC. We manage short term rental houses and sanitize the property after each checkout. We have higher cleaning standard than most hotels. Please do not renew the suspension order. We and our home owners need to pay bill and buy groceries to support families.

Hotels are more dangerous for public safety, if this was the true concern when making policies. Hurting vacation home rental does not help the state nor public. Please stop banning short term rental. Thank you very much!
