I was honored to have Mr Bassier as a teacher in in my freshman year at Ferndale High . It was 1969.I have found him to be one of the most respectable teachers I have known. I believe that this is a great way to honor his service.

Coach Bassier has been a mentor to me for 30 years...I owe him so much for helping me through some very challenging times in my life. This would be a fitting honor for a man who has given so much to so many.

I've been gone a long time, but as a '72 graduate, I cannot tell you how pleased I am to hear that Coach Bassier is still at FHS, and still doing good.
