Mr. Bassier changed my life in so many ways, from when I was a student and being a positive male role model from when I was serving in the Peace Corps and he sent me a book to help me teach biology, although no longer a teacher, the book is on my office shelf as a reminder of how to be a mentor to my students. Having his name on the Football field is the least we can do to honor him.
