With all that Ian and Mavis have done over the years the connections they have made to be treated this way is appalling . After previous competitions nothing has been said just 1 jobs worth has now in his own right alienated a town. Was it worth it ?

This action has destroyed my faith in the way the RBL is operated. Ian and Mavis should be re-instated with an apology, and the actions of the person(s) who insisted on their removal should be investigated.

My daughter is one of the winners, this competition gave her an understanding of the Poppy Appeal, we had an amazing time collecting her certificate at the Mayor’s Parlour. I haven’t been able to tell her what’s going on. Mr Nunney and staff did a wonderful job for the British Legion. We want both reinstated and the badges put on sale.
