Without the involvement of RBL numbers of schoolchildren do not learn about the Wars. I implore you to reinstate Ian and Mavis.

This is a shameful way in which to treat those who have given their time and efforts to support the British Legion who should hold their head in shame - reinstate Mr Nunnery and Ms Thomas immediately and sell these badges

Why discourage our younger generation from supporting a worthy cause. Someone being a jobsworth I feel, these children took the time and made the effort to get involved and now being made to feel like they prob shouldn't have bothered.

When people give up time voluntarily don't the R B L realise that these people earn their much needed revenue and should be commended for their initiative to earn even more and to encourage young people to never forget those who gave so much for us all

I am dismayed that members of the BL are somehow bigger than the Legion itself. Reinstate these two BL stalwarts and hang your heads in shame.

Young people should be being encouraged. Bend the rules, the money is going to the legion after all. If you can't sort this out I will be taking me support elsewhere and advising friends and family to do the same

A ridiculous decision that reflects appallingly on the judgement and integrity of the Royal British Legion. Process or not, these were children honouring those that sacrificed their lives for others. History must never be forgotten. For the sake of human decency and basic common sense, find a way
to resolve this ridiculous situation and put these wonderful tributes to our ear hero's back on sale!

Find it hard to believe that the rbl would knock back help for the Poppy appeal. Give them the jobs back drag your backsides into the 21st century and give these kids the support they deserve

As usual sounds like those in charge approaching the problem like a bull in a china shop and know having to back track. Maybe the Branch erred by not having the concept approved from above but those at national should have been more diplomatic in their approach, which would have lead to no one getting upset and the problem resolved. This is a community project that Branches are encouraged to do. This is just another prime example of a decision made by National that us volunteer members have to justify to the public. The keyword is volunteer as the Poppy appeal would be nothing without us.

I am horrified to learn of this development .The British Legion has already lost many small local branches and young people are its future.The project to involve schools to design these badges was a very positive idea and the official response is very disheartening.
