I'm going to say it simple. ROBYN IS THE SOUL OF SOUNDVIEW

We love you, Robyn!

After 10 years of being a regular patron at Soundview. I have grown to consider Robyn part of the entertainment package experience of going to the best dive bar in town. No matter what happens to ruffle feathers she has it handled. She will cut you off before you know for sure your last sip should have been your last. She will talk you out of drunk texting your ex and she will ask you if the energy has shifted during a VERY brief smoke break. Just to determine whether she should be made aware of trouble before tables are being thrown. To say this a terrible loss of a grand bartender is an understatement!! Robyn never sits down on the job or sleeps on the patrons. Always on top of her game period. I specifically go there sometimes just to compliment her on her sense of style. I’m not rich but I love overtipping her esp. when her night gets crazy. Even in her worst mood she is endearing as she rolls her eyes at you. Robyn is as iconic as the SV burger used to be until the ingredients were changed to cut costs. Robyn is one of the most baddass bitches I have ever met. None of us regulars like any of these changes and honestly I think this firing is the last straw for a lot of us. Trust your patrons who keep your lights on. Reinstate Robyn Banks or the people who love SV the most will make it a distant memory and go ghost.

Bad move to fire 1 of your best hardest working ladies there!!! Not cool! Alot of regulars have already quit going in there as much since nancy sold the business & now this? Bad move new owner. I wouldnt even be surprised if more people quit coming in. Smdh

Robyn is one of 2 reasons many of your regular, non-problematic customers come night after night. She is an amazing bartender who keeps her responsibity to the bar at the forefront. She should be reinstated immediately.

Robyn was very loyal to this property for nearly a decade. Many patrons will definitely go elsewhere in her absence.
