Re instate 3 Residents Permit Bays on Powis Road Brighton
Brighton and Hove city council did not properly put this out to public consultation. they said they put posters on lamp posts and information on their website. Which none of us saw. They knew people would not read and object to the ambulance bay. What they should have done was written to every motorist in the area in the five roads adjacent to this bay to see if who would have objected to it which if they would have done it transparently we the people know the majority of residents permit holders would have objected. Common sense would have planned to put it in front of Powis Square removing the disabled bay that is never used.
This type of tactic is typical of Brighton and Hove city council Who act in a snidey underhanded manner towards its public they are supposed to serve.
Probably not run by people who are from Brighton who care about the city and its people
