• Continue to support the values of members - that include economic opportunity for every Oregonian resident and the opportunity to advance by joining a union, affordable, high-quality health care; Democracy, pluralism and voting rights; an end to discrimination, hatred and bigotry. To create a more fair and just society for all

Accomplishments

1. Increased AFT-Oregon staff from 4.8 FTE to 9.8 FTE
2. Steady stable revenue and budget for FY 2019-21
3. Cut costs to office expenses by $1,000s per year
4. Provide stipends to EC members for first, with EC approval send rebate checks to locals for first in June 2020 with unspent budget surplus.
5. Provided local assistance for trainings to various locals
6. Have an active PLAC which endorsed more females and People of Color than ever before electing 11 of 15 to state legislators which includes 1 AFT-Oregon member
