The problem of chasing out good teachers in this school is becoming a big problem, and it doesn't appear the new principal has got an interest of our kid's education at heart.

The school has been “ rebranding” replacing nearly all the qualified BLACK teachers working there with white ones….even the students have noticed the unfair treatment …. I for one have brought up the racism i had encountered with one of my WHITE teachers but my ,yet again, WHITE principal did nothing but dismiss our FORMALLY WRITTEN COMPLAINTS….the school isnt looking into whats best for the students anymore..and no body is speaking about it

To the School Governing Body of ST Christopher's and the Department of Education,
I am a former Grade 8 learner at ST Christopher's, and I am writing to ask you to please reconsider the decision not to rehire Miss Mukhosana as an English teacher.
Miss Mukhosana was my English teacher in Grade 8. She is no longer my teacher, but I am still benefiting from what she taught me. She is the reason I passed English that year and the reason I still have confidence in my writing today. She didn’t just teach the work — she taught us to believe we could do it.
I heard that the school cannot keep her because her work permit expired. I also heard she is already fixing her papers and doing it the legal way. Miss Mukhosana is from, and losing her over a delay in paperwork is losing a teacher who changes lives.
Good teachers leave a mark that lasts years. I’m proof of that. Even though she doesn’t teach me anymore, I still remember her lessons, her patience, and how she never gave up on us. The current Grade 8s and future learners deserve that same chance.
We are not asking you to break the law. We are asking you to support her while her permit is being renewed. Stand by the teachers who stand by us. A short delay in documents should not cost this school one of its best teachers.
Please don’t let paperwork take away someone who makes real change. Keep Miss Mukhosana at ST Christopher's.
Signed,
A grateful former learner
