Everytime I go to this "masjid" I don't feel welcome this is all because the board is to busy with themselves to reach out to every day masjid goers.

I totally agree that the Imam made a big mistake calling the police for a sister. Even if he found that the sister made a big problem, he should've taken a wise action, especially with her kids around. My point is, all of brothers and sisters had their comments based on this issue (calling the police). I don't think any of the board members attend this incident . Also, we don't know if all or any of them accept what happened from the imam. So, I believe that the Imam is the one to be blamed, and the community has to find the best action to be taken against him for his mistake. Also, I would like to say that other issues mentioned in this petition are questionable and are better to be discussed with the board directly, instead of asking for the step down of the whole board. If the board is removed, we don't know who may take their place, and if they will be better or worse. Also, election can bring the same members to the board. So, my suggestion is to modify the script of the petition in order for it to deal with the main issue that hurts all of us, which is calling the police for the sister.We need to make sure this will never happen again. Finally, we all look for the best for our community and in this virtuous days we have to comply with the words of Allah: {يَاأَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا كُونُوا قَوَّامِينَ لِلَّهِ شُهَدَاءَ بِالْقِسْطِ وَلَا يَجْرِمَنَّكُمْ شَنَآنُ قَوْمٍ عَلَى أَلَّا تَعْدِلُوا اعْدِلُوا هُوَ أَقْرَبُ لِلتَّقْوَى وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ خَبِيرٌ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ } [المائدة: 8]. "O you who have believed, be persistently standing firm for Allah , witnesses in justice, and do not let the hatred of a people prevent you from being just. Be just; that is nearer to righteousness. And fear Allah ; indeed, Allah is Acquainted with what you do"

My experience at this masjid was not very fulfilling. The board was very wrong to have done what they did. I am hoping that we will see changes soon.

The police involvement in this situation is completely unnecessary and too extreme. I believe that both the board and the imam handled the situation in a completely unprofessional manner. As I do not believe that the board should not step down, I do think that certain measures should be taken in order to apprehend the officials for their quick judgements.

Imam should solved our problems not Creat problems, May Allah for give us . Ameen
