College and this garden is about learning and growing. If the students do mess up in the garden it is a learning experience. This is what it's there for not to be governed by some administration because they believe what they are doing is what is best. College is about finding oneself and for some it could be in this garden.

In an increasingly mechanized and artificial world, I think it's important to keep a connection to and honor the soil and life that preceded us. Rather than modernize the space, the funds should be used to preserve the Urban Farm as it is: a space where students can make connections and grow food under the open sun and fresh air.

I recently took a group of 8th grade students on a tour of RCC. We were all very impressed of the campus garden. It would be a shame to see it go away.

It would be such an incredible shame for this garden to be repurposed as something else. The educational opportunities it provides, the nourishment for students and participants, and the green space in an urban environment are too valuable to lose. Please keep it as-is!

The community garden is a great place to volunteer and to gain a sense of community with fellow student and educators. The previous uses of the garden were great and it’d be a shame if there were more restrictions on its use.

This garden is a tremendously valuable resource on campus, one that supports a wide range of student needs. It's destruction will be a nutritional, educational, environmental, and financial loss for students on campus
