There is a horrible event that takes place in Texas and many other states each year. It is called a Rattlesnake roundup. Thousands of wild rattlesnakes are collected from the wild, and killed. The snakes are used for monetary gain, if they aren't being used for shows they are made into boots or toys etc, but all the animals are killed eventually. This needs to stop because it puts a whole species at risk of extinction. Rattlesnake roundups are still held in 6 states Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, New Mexico, Alabama, and Georgia. This cruelty to animals needs to stop.
