I'm not against promoting our musical heritage,
I'm proud of my hometown!
but. I didn't like these record seats from the outset.
Neither do I like the metal benches outside the town hall.
Too cold to sit on, in the winter, and too hot to sit on in the summer!
The planners have a lot to think about when spending public money.

I have young children and I see these as an accident waiting to happen , they are at adult shin height and a child's head height and could seriously hurt someone on a busy market day when lots of pedestrians are around etc ! I like the design and they do look nice but I don't think they were thought about very well with safety etc
