Rasmussen College to keep physical books as a part of all courses

I have ADD an reading is a struggle for me and having only the E- Book limits me from doing well. I am not able to use my techniques that I have used thus far to help me read fast and be able to keep up with the reading requiered to do well in my courses. Please give us back our books.

I would like to keep physical books because i feel this would ensure my success in college. I would also like to keep them because i don't want to take my laptop everywhere i go just to be able to optimize my time.

Considering that we, the students, are PAYING for our books, the option should always be available to order an actual textbook if we so wish. The idea of only offering e-books is rather pompous and dictatorial. I personally requested a real textbook for one of my current classes and was very disturbed to find out that the textbook for another class was not available. This class (Medical Terminology) NEEDS to have a real textbook available. There is A LOT of memorization and looking at flash cards online is not cutting it! I understand that I can download the book and print it out, but why should I have to pay for expensive ink cartridges and paper to print 723 pages when I've already paid for a book that I should be able to have in my hands??!!

I would prefer a physical book so I don't have to toggle back and forth between screens, I also like to be able to study in bed and read before I go tp sleep at night ,and also I would like o be able to keep a physical book so that if I want to reference something I actually have a book I can look back on to keep everything that I have learned fresh in my head. You just simply cannot do this with an e book. I do not like them, I do not like them, I do not like them!!! DOWN WITH E BOOKS!!!

I prefer paper books and do not like to read my books on a screen. I stare a t a screen enough for work and my eyes get far too strained.

I have had bad experience with the e-books. I now need to be attached to the computer even longer rather than being able to sit on the couch or read in bed like I used to. I also do not like the fact that I pay for this ebook but do not get the option of keeping it. If were going to be forced to use e-books we should not have to pay for them.

EBooks are hard to use all the time. I need to be able to bring my book with me to work where I can read while I'm in between jobs. I cannot have a computer with me at the job, so the Ebook is not working for me at all. Please let us have a choice. We are the ones paying for it.

I believe that we should get the choice to choose either eBooks or physical text books... after all we are the ones paying, not the school.

Some of the ebooks have not been to bad, but I perfer a paperback book. to me this is easier to skim through a book. The ebook may be convenient and easier to take here and there if you have internet or have downloaded. I actually feel that paperback would work better for me.

If we have to pay for the materials, it should be our choice how we recieve them.

I do not like e-books. If I am going to pay for something in the end, I would like to have a physical copy of it. I do not like having to read something on a screen. I like to have a physical copy with me so I can make notes in it and be able to reference it whenever I want and need to. I think we should have the option to have a physical copy. It should not automaically be assigned to us as an e-book.

I cannot learn with ebook. If the option of having physical text book is not a option no more, I might have to consider transferring. I seriously do not like ebook.

There is a place for physical books. Also, if it's been paid for I think we should be able to keep the book if we want to. eBooks are almost like library rentals, they have to be returned.
