Rasmussen College to keep physical books as a part of all courses

I prefer the ebooks but I would like the choice. I have had some classes I would like to own the book for refernce once I am in my career.

I for one agree! I do not do well with E-books. I'd like the option of a paper book! expecially for things like accounting classes...soemtimes i cant follow! I like to be able to look back by turning a page and such...

Having the actual text book is better for me as a visual learner. It is faster to run and get a book when I have a question on one of my assignments than having to wait for everything to load on my laptop or tablet. Altough in recent classes I have been given the ebooks I follow the procedure, return them and order the actual text book. It is simply easier for me to work this way.

I just want to be sure that eBooks will be offered for ALL classes as well. They aren't now but the change would mean eBooks for all classes. i feel we should have a choice of formats for ALL classrs.

I need regular books because I am a visual learner. I feel that it makes it easier to navigate between the front of the chapter to look at examples, to the back of the book for problems, when a textbook is used. I like to be able to flip the pages as though I was reading an actual book. I also dont like how you can only log in on one device because if I dont have my computer readily available, I cant get on in a different location.

I need textbooks as I am a visual learner and ebooks suck.

I want to be be able to use textbooks for resources beyond graduation to help me in my future career and I am paying for them too so I should be given a choice.

IF you guys make ebooks the standard I will consider going to another school. We deserve to have options.e

I pay for text books and use them as reference material years after the course is complete. With eBooks, I am paying for something that I can no longer use in the future. This is a very poor decision by Rasmussen and is actually resulting in a charge to students with no long term value.

Students should have the option of using the books that they prefer with the price we pay for our schooling.

Ridiculous that we should be forced to use ebooks. We are already paying an incredibly high cost for tuition so the fact that we can't be given the option to have an actual hard copy book is crazy. If that's how some people learn best, why would we be denied it??

This is especially true for accounting classes or any other classes that are confusing and you may need to flip back and forth.

Please keep the choice between the two. For myself, having a text book makes it easier to study because I can take it with me, where as I can not take my laptop everywhere I go. Plus I find it easier to navigate a physical book, unlike where I can not as easily flip through the ebook.

Please let us have REAL books
