Rasmussen College to keep physical books as a part of all courses

I believe we should choose to have real books instead of ebooks. I prefer real books because ebooks are harder to work with.

I like regular books as I am not always at my computer.

I want real books, my eyes hurt from looking at a screen so much. It interferes with my sleep to look at a computer screen right before bed.

i like the books because they can be great references later on when you need them.

I prefer actual books as well. My eyes begin to hurt and I get headaches after reading on the computer for an extended amount of time

Ebooks making learning and completing assignments more difficult for me. It is also nice to get my eyes off the screen seeing as that is all we do today between phones and computers, tv etc. If the college is only supplying ebooks, we should at the very least get a credit for not buying them from Rasmussen that we could use towards purchasing the books ourselves.

we should be allowed the choice between physical books or ebooks. The choice of one or the otehr should not be imposed to us.Personally , I prefer physical books. I like highlithing and it allows me to study at work where PDAs like Ipad are not allowed and could get me in trouble.I learn better from a physical book and I always refer back to all my books which I keep for references in future classes and futures assignments. The E-books are not available to us , once the quarter ends. I am all in favor of the physical books and the student's right to chose based on preference.

There is no way I am going to use E-books. That isn't the way that I learn. It would cost ME more money to print the book out.

I learn better from a real book and don't always like starring at a computer screen all day while reading. I prefer real books in front of me.

At the very least I want to be able to choose a physical book. I do not like trying to read on my laptop and I prefer taking notes and highlighting in a physical book. I feel I get much more out of it and the convenience of anywhere reading from a book cannot be beat.

Please keep paper books! I prefer a real book.

I do not like the ebooks. reading a book on the screen hurts my eyes and i loos focus easly.

I would much rather look at a book. I feel it is much easier to look at a book. I can guess about where the chapter is and go to it instead of looking through every pg. Plus I like to look at the glossary for stuff and the index and don't want to go through the WHOLE entire book. PLEASE give me a hard copy of a book.

I believe in using the physical books myself

I have been in school for a long time and I find that studing, is easier with a hard copy of the books. I can not learn from trying to read a book on a computer screen. If we are paying for the books we should have a choose in which way we recieve the them. Looking at a computer monitor trying to read a chapter gives me a migraine. Another problem with e-books is power outages, at least with the actual text book in my hand I can read it by with a lanter. Hard copies are better for me and it sounds like a lot of other people agree.

Reading the computer screen for more than a couple minutes makes me extremely nauseas. It is already hard for me with the classes that don't offer actual books. If all were ebooks I wouldn't be able to finish at this school.

I prefer physical text books. I feel that I do better with a text book. For me, it is harder on my eyes to look at a screen vs. a book. I say it is our right to get physical text books if we choose.

I prefer physical text books. Ebooks are difficult to read for long periods of time and also I would like to have a text book for a reference in the future. We pay for the books, we should have a choice.

We should have a CHOICE!!!! I used my books everyday and mark them up! I highlight everything! We should have a choice!
