As a resident of Acton, the Town has been able to change zoning and Bylaws to allow for lots of housing developments on tiny lots, lets figure out a way to update old codes to let a family run business, that is loved, have more parking. It's not difficult.

This town needs to get its priorities straight and support small businesses.

Let's find a way for Rapscallion to have the necessary parking to remain a viable business in town.

I 100% feel you should be able to park on your property. The town needs to make changes on old rules and bylaws for the changing times.

Great food & atmosphere. They should be allowed to park more cars on their land. Just another way Acton pushes business out of town.

Let’s use common sense and create a safe solution.

It’s a great family restaurant, and the owners are just regular people. Please allow the parking on their property that is on contention.

Why does Acton town government make life so difficult for businesses? Have you noticed how many empty stores are in this town?

I'm also a Strawberry Hill Rd resident. The economy is so tough on small businesses right now. Let Rapscallion use their own land for parking - we need to keep our local businesses.

Acton needs to be more business friendly. I am so sick of having to drive 30 minutes to ANYTHING! We have a wonderful business right here in town that is trying to work with the town to resolve an issue and the town - seemingly - is refusing to work with them. As a tax-paying citizen of Acton, I say - please do better, Town of Acton.

This is a wonderful business and they deserve to do what they want with their property. Please allow them the extra spots on their land so Acton can keep this great restaurant.

As someone who lives on Strawberry Hill Road, I've admired their tenacity at providing a fun & delicious place for people to gather, particularly during the pandemic. I thought it was brilliant when they converted the side of their property to a makeshift parking area as there weren't other convenient safe options for people to park their cars. Why would the town care if they park on their own property? That makes no sense to me. I understood when the town began to enforce against parking on Strawberry Hill Road because the street is narrow and windy and it wasn't safe. But this is not sensible and in no way serves the business or the community to force them to shut down because they can't run profitably with the limits the town provides on parking. I assume that limit was set back when it was a very high end French restaurant.

Please consider the needs of local businesses. They are the life blood of a community and do much to enhance the community.

Brilliant. Chase out another great business so Acton can have another bank. Do the right thing and leave this place alone.

I have lived in Acton for 25 years. Rapscallion is a great addition to Acton and the town should work to ensure that they can stay and thrive in Acton.
