One of my favorite restaurants in Acton. The town needs to fix this broken zoning issue. We need to support our local businesses if we want them to survive.

Rapscallion is great little restaurant that I visit often. The owners have skillfully and thoughtfully maneuvered their delicate business through a pandemic doing their best to serve their customers AND their hard working dedicated staff. The popularity of their restaurant and, thus, the crunch on parking, is a testament to their skill. The have invested blood, sweat and tears and the town should acknowledge their pursuit and allow an expansion of parking. It’s the right thing to do.

This beautiful restaurant has stayed afloat in some of the most trying times this country has seen. They not only provide employment opportunities but they also give a much needed respite and beautiful experience to the local community. The restaurant industry has suffered enough! C'mon, Acton - DO THE RIGHT THING!

Rapscallion is a local treasure, especially with its outside seating during the Pandemic. We go there to sit outside when no other restaurants have outside seating. We must co whatever is possible to support this amazing place!

Give help to this local popular business. Great Road is so unsafe to cross. All of us who live here know how unsafe it is. Have common decency and common sense and allow this extra parking is a safe place. COMMOM SENSE PLEASE. Does someone really need to get seriously hurt before action is taken?

The Raps is an amazing place with great vibes, especially in the summer. The fact that they're so involved with the community, including running TWO 5k's at the start and end of summer, on top of employing locals, feeding the locals, etc. Like, come on, Acton. Don't shoot yourselves in the foot and let them park in THEIR OWN SPACE.
I've walked across that highway a whole bunch and put my life into my hands every time I do it. Let them keep on keeping on. It's an Acton staple.

I love going to Raps the old rustic country setting.
I also have businesses in other towns. I have on many occasions had to deal with small-town politics where one person maybe old town residence is given carte blanche but a newer person may be known as a blow in is treated unfairly. I’m not sure if anyone on the board has experience in business and has a run a restaurant. But being in business especially the restaurant business is very difficult the life expectancy is very short. I have attempted to enter into the restaurant business crunch the numbers looked at the hours why would anybody in their right mind wanna be in that business. And then have the town that they’re supporting by bringing their efforts not cooperate with them. This restaurant is supporting the community by providing a friendly atmosphere with great food and employees that live in the town. And the town is thanking them for the efforts by refusing To grant them The use of their own land to park cars and then finding them every time they park a car outside of their hot top parking lot. I urge a town to do the right thing and support a small business in their town that has survived the Covid epidemic. Please Grant them additional parking and support the community with an open mind and heart.
