Rape culture on Arkansas State University's campus is a major problem, that refuses to be addressed by administration. At the Greek Training recently, we were told that by intervening in a potential rape, you are "saving someone from being convicted as a felon" and therefore protecting their future and reputation. That was the last straw. The voices of many rape victims have been silenced for too long and it's time to finally actually get something done about this.
We can and will make a change and will not let the voices of victims be silenced. We will make sure A-State and Greek organizations hold rapists responsible for their actions.
I am meeting with some higher ups soon so we want as many signatures as possible! Thanks.

Finally someone is speaking out about this. The greek life culture here is toxic. Good luck with the meeting!
UNBELIEVABLE. protecting the rapists future instead of the victim?? trash.
This makes me sick. How can they even say that at a training session? Accountability starts with the admin.
A state needs to wake up. This is 2016 not 1950. Keep fighting this.

It's disappointing how unsurprised I am that this behavior is on Astate's campus. It is decades past time to put an end to this rape culture. You have my full support.
