Best of luck in your business ventures, Ayla! Sitka needs more entrepreneurs such as yourself - I just need to come down and try your food :)

I am very proud of the young start-ups in Sitka and hope other community members will show strong support in encouraging the local economy in Sitka as well as the folks that are willing to take risks in starting up fresh business ventures like Rans Net

The last thing this town needs is to make owning and maintaining a business any more difficult than it already is.

Stay open! Don't crush any opportunity for small business. We need options and people willing to start up business in Sitka. Unfortunately, some crushed the building of extended docks in the harbor and we have less tourism now. I want a booming Sitka, not a stagnant one. Those empty store fronts cost a lot of money and small business owners cannot afford this.

I fully support this great business and Sitka needs to allow more growth from small businesses. There is so much opportunity here if the town would just allow it to happen!

I fully support these ladies staying open! I am always disappointed when they are closed and the city needs to lay off of them. They are bringing in money, and money that our economy truly needs. STAY RANS NEST!!!!!!

After living outside of Sitka for 6 years and traveling back & forth, I am baffled at how STUCK Sitka is!! Time to look to the future and revitalize or support growth! I look forwaed to visiting & enjoying Ayla ' s new establishment. ... until then, I continue to enjoy Nome's old school Alaska frontier spirit! !

In my experience as a nightowl walking around downtown, this business is not creating a noise problem. On Friday night I heard several people singing outside Ernie's and Monday night I heard a driver with his car stereo at full blast. This is a business district and this business isn't creating a major noise problem compared to other businesses in the area. In fact, it's quieter.

By all means this business should be allowed to continue without any more harassment. What a neat, fun thing for Sitka. Great food, FINALLY something open late for people who work night shifts (lots of our police officers enjoy pelmeni at Ran's Net) and this is exactly the kind of grass roots local business this town desperately needs. We need a pro business assembly in Sitka before it is too late.
