Since 2002, Dr. Randy Winkler has ably served Concordia University, St. Paul in many roles: teacher, director, choreographer, advisor, recruiter, administrator, and Theatre Department chair. His outstanding artistic work, excellent teaching, thoughtful advising, caring mentoring, superb organizational aplomb, exemplary collegiality, and unrivalled reputation in and connections with the metropolitan artistic community have been key to our Theatre Department's growth in numbers, quality, and reputation. Dr. Winkler's departure will leave an irreparable hole in Concordia's Fine and Performing Arts offerings. We, the undersigned, respectfully request that the Concordia University, St. Paul administration do all in its power to encourage Dr. Winkler to return to the faculty of the Concordia University, St. Paul Theatre Department.
